1. Introduction

SportsNext India Pvt Ltd ("Company", "we", "our", "us") owns and operates My Sports Auction ("Platform"), a digital player auction execution system for sports tournaments. This document outlines how we process data, manage digital assets, and deliver auction services in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and applicable Indian laws.

2. Legal Entity & Platform Scope

• Ownership: The My Sports Auction platform, its proprietary bidding software, branding, and underlying intellectual property are owned exclusively by SportsNext India Pvt Ltd.
• Nature of Bidding: Bidding on the Platform utilizes virtual points/credits only. No real-money gambling, wagering, cash prizes, or real-currency trades take place during player auctions.
• Service Fees: We charge clients (event organizers, leagues, or corporate entities) commercial service fees and platform usage charges for setting up, hosting, and executing virtual player auctions.

3. Information We Collect

• Client & Representative Data: Name, business/organization name, email address, phone number, and billing details of event organizers.
• Player Data (Provided by Clients): Player full names, profiles, categories/roles, performance stats, and profile pictures uploaded to our servers for auction administration.
• Transactional & Financial Data: Invoicing details and payment processing records for client platform usage fees. Payments are processed securely via encrypted third-party gateways.
• Technical & Usage Data: IP addresses, login credentials, device identification, and real-time bidding session logs to prevent unauthorized access and maintain system integrity.

4. Purpose of Processing (DPDP Act Compliance)

We collect and store player and client data strictly for operational execution, including:

• Hosting, displaying, and managing live virtual player auctions.
• Storing player profiles and imagery on our secure cloud servers during the active lifecycle of the event.
• Invoicing and verifying client platform service fees.
• Generating auction results, squad summaries, and post-event analytical reports for clients.
• Providing technical support and ensuring system stability during live bidding events.

5. Client Obligations Regarding Player Data

Clients uploading player details and imagery to My Sports Auction warrant that they have obtained prior explicit consent from each individual player (or legal guardian, in the case of minors) to share their names, statistical data, and photographs with us for storage, processing, and display on the Platform.

6. Consent & Withdrawal

Individual players wishing to withdraw consent for data storage or image display must contact their respective event organizer or write directly to info@mysportsauction.com. Withdrawal of consent during an ongoing auction may require the removal of the player's profile from the bidding pool.

7. Data & Media Retention

Player names, images, and auction statistics uploaded by clients are retained on our secure servers for the duration of the tournament contract and post-event reporting period, or as required by Indian regulatory obligations. Data is securely deleted or archived upon contract completion or valid deletion requests.

8. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade player data or client lists. Information is shared strictly on a need-to-know basis with:

• Infrastructure Providers: Secure cloud storage and hosting vendors operating under strict non-disclosure and DPDP Act compliance.
• Payment Gateways: For processing client platform service fees.
• Law Enforcement: When mandated by applicable court orders or statutory authorities.

9. Rights Under the DPDP Act

Users and players maintain rights to access, correct, or request deletion of their personal profiles and images stored on our servers, subject to contractual verification with the event organizer and applicable legal obligations.

10. Security Measures

Player images and auction data stored on our servers are protected using SSL encryption, access-controlled cloud architecture, and regular security audits to prevent unauthorized access, leakage, or tampering.

11. Intellectual Property Rights

All software code, user interface designs, auction algorithms, and branding elements associated with My Sports Auction belong solely to SportsNext India Pvt Ltd. Unused raw imagery provided by clients remains the property of the respective clients/players.

12. Limitation of Liability

Service Availability: While we strive for uninterrupted live auction streams, SportsNext India Pvt Ltd is not liable for indirect losses caused by localized client connectivity failures or third-party internet outages.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Policy and the operation of My Sports Auction are governed by the laws of India. Any legal disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Mumbai, India.
